Privacy policy
How this website and our shop use the details you give us, and your rights over them.

Who we are
This website and its shop are run by Modular Garage Floor Tiles. If you have a question about this policy or about your details, email us at james@tarkawebdesign.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.
What we collect, and why
When you send us a message
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your message. We use them to reply to you, and to prepare a quote if you have asked for one. The message is stored on this website and emailed to us. We keep it until we delete it.
When you place an order
To take and deliver an order we need your name, email address, delivery address and, if you give it, a phone number for the courier. We keep a record of what you ordered and what you paid so we can deliver it, answer questions about it and keep the accounts the law requires.
Payment is taken by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach this website or us. Stripe tells us only whether the payment went through.
Who looks after it
This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design Ltd. They store the website and the details sent through it, and deliver its email, on our behalf and only on our instructions. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone else for their own use. We pass a delivery name, address and phone number to the courier carrying your order.
Cookies
The website sets a session cookie and a security cookie that every visitor needs: they keep forms working and protect them from misuse. If you add something to the basket, a basket cookie remembers it until you check out or it expires.
We count visits to the website without cookies, so counting you does not identify you or follow you elsewhere.
If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, and nothing is set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser so you are not asked on every page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them or delete them, and object to how we use them. Email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
